Geological and Environmental Data Logger This Project was submitted to Parallax by Tracy Allen, PhD. Tracy Allen, Phd. of EME Systems uses the BASIC Stamp® 2 module in his Owl2C environmental data logger, giving the customer the ability to customize the sensors used by reprogramming the BASIC Stamp microcontroller. The Owl2C is used by researchers and practitioners to collect air and water temperature, humidity, soil moisture, leaf wetness, UV-A and UV-B ultraviolet light, and wind data. Dr. Allen's web site has detailed information about using the BASIC Stamp 2sx module. He is also the author of the Stamps in Class™ Earth Measurements educational series and maker of the stache BASIC Stamp field programmer.
